Administrative Teams

Church Council
The administrative and decision making body of Beaver Memorial, the Church Council administers the decisions of the Church/Charge Conference.

Committee on Lay Leadership
This committee nominates persons to serve on boards, work areas, and committees at Beaver Memorial. Persons are then elected at the annual Church/Charge Conference or at the Church Council to fill a vacancy.

Staff/Parish Relations Committee
The local church’s administrative unit in which lay and clergy integrate the staff and congregational interests to focus on the mission of the church.

Board of Trustees
Supervises care of all church properties, manages all church related bequests and memorial funds, and oversees the Safe Sanctuaries policies.

Property Committee
A sub-committee of the Board of Trustees charged with the care and maintenance of the church and parsonage buildings, equipment, landscaping, etc. Meets bi-monthly on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month.

Kinderfolk Advisory Board
Supervises the operation of the Kinderfolk Pre-School. Composed of appointed church members and a parent representative, meetings are held as needed, at least three times per year.

Fundraising Committee
A sub-committee of Finance, the goals of the fundraising committee are to help fund the ministries and missions of the church, to have fun working together and getting to know one another, and to enable the community to get to know the congregation of Beaver Memorial. Examples of fundraisers include refreshment stand along the 4th of July parade route, Christmas Fair, and Weis gift cards.

Membership & Nurture Committee
Coordinates and implements care of current congregation and seeks to assimilate visitors and new members into the life of the church.
