What does the Lay Leader do? He or she serves as an intermediary and supporter for the pastor and the congregation in whatever ways may be helpful. This includes assisting in worship, charting new paths for effective ministry, and promoting the connectional opportunities within the annual conference. The Lay Leader is a member of Church Council, Staff Parish and Finance Committees.
